Kayaking
The Llano River in Mason County is one of the most scenic rivers in the country. Geologists, anglers, birders and kayakers enjoy awesome views often without seeing another person. Bring your own kayaks (or rent ours) for a quick photo shoot or take a float trip from White's Crossing to James River Crossing (about 3 hours, depending upon your pace and activities). Raptors and swallows are abundant along the limestone cliffs.
