Ranchito de Venado is located approximately 12 miles southwest of Mason on Ranch Road 1871. We are about 100 miles from both Austin and San Antonio, and about 50 miles north of Fredericksburg. Our physical address is 11841 Ranch Road 1871, Mason, Texas 76856. From the Mason Square, turn onto RR 1871 - this the road which goes between Commercial Bank and the Nuway Valero Convenience Store. For the first mile or so, you will meander through the western Mason neighborhood, going past the Mason High School. As a geographical landmark, White's Crossing (where RR 1871 crosses the Llano River) is approximately 9 miles from the Mason Square. In about 2.5 miles, you will see on the left our gate (rock entrance and iron gate with a wagon wheel in the middle). A call box is located on the rock wall, to the left of the gate.
